How do I switch to wireless to lan connection on my laptop.?

I bought a Acer laptop for work and every time I come home when I have to use it from a wireless router, I have a hard time converting it to wireless. They say there is a switch in the front or side… I cant find it

Not quite sure what your exactly asking… But you can disable wireless and just plug into your laptop. Open up network connections from the control panel, right click on wireless network and click disable. Then plug in a patch cable from your router to your laptop.
