How to configure bios to boot from USB flash drive?

Hi I have XP on my USB flash Drive ( Best Buy: Geek Squad 8gb) and I want to boot it but my USB its not in boot order list, I wanted to ask how to make the USB appear in that list so I can boot and Install XP? THX

Not every PC is capable of booting from a USB flash drive. For the most part, computers manufactured within the last two years are generally able to boot from a flash drive. Older systems may require a BIOS update, or might not be able to boot from a flash drive at all.
