ADO port on Voice and Data board?

I was wondering what is the purpose of this port? Right now it is connected to the test port. Here is a .pdf I found by the manufacturer but I don’t understand all this tech stuff.

The incoming lines are sent to the test port that is normally connected to the ADO port. The ADO is the input for the rest of the sockets.

If this is a secondary module (no direct incoming lines) then this ADO would need to be connected to a port on the primary module because the test socket will not have and lines connected.
