Does it matter what mic you use for a laptop and windows live messenger?
I have a laptop and want to purchase a microphone to use with Windows live messenger to speak with someone that has webcam and audio. My operating system is Vista. When I looked at mics some said for desktop but made no mention of being compatible with a laptop and then one of then specifically said can be used with Windows Live?
Most microphones would be compatable with both Vista and Window’s Live Messenger. Try to avoid mic’s that connect via USB though. If it connects via the standard mic port, then you should have absolutely no trouble.
