This, coupled with the lowest monthly charge at $49.95, makes it great value for money. The lowest charge for a HughesNet package is $59.99 per month. The upfront cost of the equipment is $399 with mail in rebate receivable after 8 weeks. With WildBlue the equipment is leased. Equipment failures within the lease term would be covered by WildBlue while HughesNet offers a 12 month warranty on equipment and no lease scheme.
The bottom-line is that with satellite Internet the customer gets plenty of choices on the packages and user-friendly plans. Time to upgrade from dial-up then, and check out satellite Internet services!
