Nintendo Wii internet connection via laptop?
hey everyone
i have an HP laptop (model dv2410us) running on windows vista. i use a wireless broadband to connect to the internet – Novatel Wireless Ovation model MCD3000. it connects to my laptop through a USB port. i was wondering if i could connect or somewhat, set up a network that would allow my wii to be able to connect to the internet. i’ve been trying almost everything like setting up adhocs, setting up wireless networks, but no luck. so i bought the LANadapter for the wii. still no luck. the wii is connected to the laptop through one of those phone-looking connections.
so is it even possible to connect to the internet with what i have right now? thanks for any help!
I’m not sure if it will work with the wii but before I had a wireless router I played my xbox360 online through my laptop (windows xp). all i did was go into my internet connection settings and on the advanced tab there is an option that says something along the lines of “share internet connection” i checked that option and it worked maybe it will work on the vista but not sure
