Can I block certain websites from a router?

I have the main desktop computer and my fiance has the laptop. We had suddenlink cable internet, thats hooked up to a Etherfast Cable/DSL Router.

Enter the setting page of the router, usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 depending on the Router (read manual)
from there you have to go to URL filtering and add the web sites or part of the name like “porn” or “sex” and save the settings.
you may need to soft restart the router to take effect.

any website have any one of these words cannot be viewed.
